 YWCA Project Inspire Program

The goal of our “Project Inspire” After School Program is to improve academic achievement and provide students with the opportunity to earn credit recovery within an after-school setting and provide a wide-range of services and activities to students enrolled within the East Side Union High School District in order to build developmental assets. The services include, but are not limited to: Academic Assistance using the AVID Tutorial Model, Life Skills Enrichment Classes, Fitness, Mentorship, Self-Expression via The Arts, Field Trips, Leadership Development Opportunities, and Service-Learning Projects. Project Inspire currently serves Overfelt High School, James Lick High School, Yerba Buena High School, and Andrew Hill High School.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 3:00 - 6:00

Programs Offered:
   Credit Recovery: Geometry, English I, English II, World History & US History
   Athletics: Dodge Ball & Football Teams
   Community Service: Meeting graduation requirements while making a difference
   Leadership: Youth Advisory Board
   Clubs: Music, Art, Film, Cooking, Sports, College Road Trips
